Registered Patients of Mizen Medical Can Renew Existing Prescriptions Online

Details of Prescription: Please provide as much detail as possible for the required medication. This includes the name, the dose and the duration which you require, for example Aspirin 75 mg x 3 months. This will also help you to become familiar with your monthly medication.
Please list each medication individually. Avoid terms like “My Usual Medications” or “My 3 Monthly Script”.
Fee: Private patients will receive a link by text to process payment. Prescription renewals are covered by the Medical Card and Long Term Illness Schemes.
This service is available for your usual medication only. New medication requests or requests for medicines which are not part of your regular prescription will be not be processed and you will receive a text message asking you to contact the practice.
We will always try to complete your request in a timely fashion. Prescription renewal involves safety checks and pharmacy collaboration. Please allow up to 2 working days for your renewal request to be processed by your GP and sent to the pharmacy of your choice. Prescription renewal requests are not processed at weekends.
